About Us

Linda Brisbin & Team Trouble

Linda started agility in 1996 with Webster, Cisseldale’s Double Trouble, simply because if Webster didn’t have a job he’d create his own – NOT something you want your Welsh Terrier to do!

Today, with five Welsh Terriers, she and the boy’s have 75 Master Agilility Championships, two Agility Grand Champions and numerous other AKC and USDAA titles.

The Story Behind “Trouble”

When I was young our family had horses. My Morgan/Quarter Horse “Bobbi” was my everything.

One day I overheard my mom say, “Horses are nothing but trouble.”  I was devastated!  How could she not share my love of horses?

So, I promised myself my love of animals would always be my “truth” and never my “problem.”

The Boys

Welsh Terriers are ALL terrier - ALL the time. Bred to go to ground, they aren't the most agile of agility dogs but they love the game.

WEBSTER - A Legend

Starting wild and the one that taught Linda everything about Welshes, his antics often surpassed his accomplishments!  Among his long list of 1sts  – the first Welsh Terrier to earn an AKC MACH followed by the first Welsh USDAA ADCH. He was the AKC Top Agility Welsh Terrier from 2001 through 2006, when near the end of his career, he was replaced by his little brother.  He retired in 2007 as the life time 10th ranked AKC Agility Dog – All Breeds.

ZACHARY

Linda’s first home-schooled dog Zach-O-Matic never attended a formal class.  Just  put him in the ring and watch him go!  He was AKC Top Agility Welsh Terrier   2011 – 2016.  He competed right up till his last days and loved the game.  He learned well from Webster and was the “sheriff” and “tattletale” for all house rules and regulations – much to the chagrin of his much more laid-back new playmate, Patrick.

GREGORY

Earned his first MACH at age 2 and his AGCH at 4.  If you’ve seen him run you know he has a lot to say in the ring and is a real ball of fire.  He became AKC Agility Top Welsh Terrier in 2022 and has held that position through 2025. His best is yet to come.

HIGGINS

Higgins, the little dog that could! His list of 1sts include first Welsh Terrier AKC Agility Invitational Finalist, first Welsh Terrier to earn MXF and TQX titles.  He was the AKC Top Agility Welsh Terrier from 2007 through 2010 (ranked second behind Webster 2003-2006 and behind Zachary  2011-2012.  He was ranked 11th Lifetime Achievement All Breeds in 2010 and 7th in 2011.  He retired as the life time 11th ranked AKC Agility Dog – All Breeds.

PATRICK

AGCH MACH 10 WISIWIG'S Trouble Has Arrived MXB4 PDG MFC MJC2 TQX T2B5 CGCA, TKN

First Welsh Terrier to earn an Agility Grand Championship.  Don’t ask him to do anything twice, boring!. “I don’t do walks”. What a waste. Just feed me and wake me up to get me to the line on time.  I know the game, but sometimes it’s more fun to make my own rules.”  He still managed to be Top AKC Welsh  2017 –  2021.

25+ Years of Agility Excellence

Webster was the first Welsh Terrier to ever earn an AKC MACH (Master Agility Champion) and the first Welsh USDAA ADCH (Agility Dog Champion) only to be out done by Patrick when he became the first Welsh AKC AGCH (Agility Grand Champion).  Linda has had the No. 1 AKC Agility Welsh Terrier every year since 2001.  She has also had the Top Welsh Terrier selected to attend every AKC Invitational since it’s inaugural event in Long Beach with multiple dogs advancing to the Finals and finishing as high as 4th.
